While the H may pop out first I think that I like it better as an A. It just seems more interesting to me to have an object that is very close connect with an object that is at a distance creating the letter. I agree with Adream, though, in that you should try playing with colours to add emphasis on the A rather than the H.
I personally saw an "a" before I saw an "h." That being said, I think you could emphasize it some to make it clearer. I like your "b" also (lucky find) and the "f" is good, although it could be a little more interesting as compared to your other two.
I think the reason the A doesn't stand out so much is that the window frame is so much more recognizable and in the foreground. If the form intersecting the gable was more abstract, they intended letter might be more obvious.
i agree with the others in seen an H first, but i do see an A. It's a really nice photo though , especially the colors and the three houses in the background.

Actually, to me this might work better as an "H". The railing of the fire escape is what stands out to me more than the gable in the background.
I agree.
First thing I saw was an "h."
i agree with the rest of the comments...this seems like an "h" rather than and "A"
I do not think that it means it cannot be an "A" you can make the theme second glance letters...or the less important letters...
perhaps you can try black and white...or play with the color to emphasize the A?
also you are a bit behind...you should have some more letters by now.
Yeah, I can see the letter going either way.

I like this picture, the H form is a bit distracting from the A form, but the concept is very nice.

i think it reads more as an H right now, but with some cropping and possibly some color adjustments to the background it would work well.
