~portentous music is heard~

This is actually the beginning to an entire series (and it was exceedingly difficult to pick which part of the series I wanted to display...it was more of a half dozen or another kind of decision).

I'm (or someone) is angry with the doll (or what the doll aka Barbie represents), and this anger causes destruction.

The other images of the series involve the doll broken apart, being put back together, and then it is realized that the doll might just have true human aspects after all.

This first series I wanted to have a very old black and white movie feel to build a great deal of tension - I wanted the images to have an almost silver plated feel as well.

I also wanted to see how little information I could actually use - trying a minimalist approach.

Narrative photos

My second narrative, involving my object (the portable TV).

1. The TV
2. The context - it's 3am.
3. The conflict - I'm hungry.
4. The resolution - eating in front of the TV.

Comments Done!

Overall...I wanted to compliment you on the outstanding progress I am seeing from the class. There is still a lot of work to be done...but I cannot tell you how happy I am to see your progress...

Remember...
1. CROP unecessry to the message.
2. Control color palettes!
3. Stay out of the center! (rule of thumb..not absolute).

great job and continue with the comments.

(by the by...this is an entry from my lj posted a couple of days ago...)

the quote is from one of my favorite books.

I am using the human body to sing the alphabet, so to speak.

these are not 800 x 600, because I had resized them before I knew the sizing contraints, and for that I apologize.
