I like the idea behind the Q but I think I would prefer to see the entire letter in focus. I really like the idea of the C being made up of the cord and the reflection of the cord.
Very nice images. I really like the texures found in all of your shots. The rust adds a wonderful texture to your Q image. Same thing with the R. I just find the hit or miss focus a little bothersome. Nice idea with the C, but again I think it's not as good as it could be due to lack of focus. However, focus aside, very nice all around.
The textures are very nice in all of them, especially the first two.. I also like how the color palette is used appropriately in each image (seems to be thought out well).. maybe do other letters at a different distance to contrast the closeup shots.
gorgeous conceptual letters...i think the Q is my favorite...but it needs a bit of cropping to focus on the smaller Q rather than the larger out of focus shape.
Really beautiful job on these...the detail is rich and the palette..so soft...can not wait for the rest!
These are all done really nicely. I think that the closeness of these shots is really nice, picking out unseen details. I agree with some previous comments about focus being a little hit or miss, but I think this adds to the subtlety of the shots.
Very nice. Selective focus is good, shame the top half of the Q got is slightly off focus. I never would have thought to finish the letter using its reflection.
I really like these shots, all are very well focused on the main subject, and there is a grittyness in all of the pictures, will be interesting to see the rest.
very interesting images. i like the detail and textures. as for the focus issue it may be a problem if it isnt consistent throughout the series. but if you had some area out of focus for every image that could be interesting. and you could use that to help emphasize the actual letter

Nice details in the rust and wood. I think they are really interesting concepts behind the letters you have shot so far.

Love the Q&R. The C, as others said, would be a lot better in focus, but overall very beautiful. Wonderful color.
I like the "r" best, simply because it is such an unlikely place to find it. The "q" is also interesting.

I am very impressed with these letter, but Im not sure if the last one measures up to the level of quality as the other two

I really enjoy your control of depth of field in these images. You do a good job at putting the important part of the image into focus.
